My clients have a lot of eclectic furniture, ceramics and art pieces inspired by the natural environment so this piece worked well with the pre-existing natural colour palette. I have framed it in beech wood to compliment the other artworks nearby.
This piece was inspired by the beautiful balance of water and land. The client has a young family and wanted something for their kitchen/dining area that was warm and dynamic.
The brief for this large piece included the use of maroon and mushrooms hues. The client had a vision of incorprating these colours into a painting that drew inspiration from a cloudscape. (170 x 150cm)
